The Church Service
We are very much looking forward to having our friends and family with us when we get married.
As you probably already know, faith is important to both of us. It is one of the things we share. We have both had a belief in God for as long as we can remember, so getting married in church fits us very well.
It is a joy to us that we have in our lives a whole mixture of people with different perspectives and beliefs and we realise that not everyone will be viewing the prospect of being in church with unalloyed joy. If you are joining us at the church even though it's not quite your thing, thank you so much. We would like you to be comfortable to be yourself. Join in with what feels right and meaningful to you. We don't mind whether you pray or don't pray, sing or don't sing, stand up, sit down or dance in the aisles. We are simply delighted to share the day with you.
We know that some of our guests, particularly the younger ones, might find that they need to move around or make a noise. We completely understand and it's absolutely fine.
We recognise that not every couple is able to celebrate their love by getting married in the place that they would choose and we continue to hope and pray for the day that will change.

We realise that some of you might have been wondering about wedding presents.
As we both already have established households that are pretty well equipped with stuff, we are already blessed with everything we need and quite a lot of things we don't.
So you can rest assured that we are delighted that you will be with us to celebrate our special day and that your presence will be our wedding present.
